STARTER KIT SUGGESTIONS
Bringing a new puppy home? do you have everything you need? Purchases a crate, along with your essential items and save 10% on your starter kit!
- Crate
- Baby Gate – A wire, wooden or plastic “baby gate” may be needed for blocking doorways during housetraining.
- Bedding (old blankets and towels can be used)
- During housetraining it is recommended that NO bedding or newspaper be put in the crate.
- Food: We currently feed and recommend NUTRI-SOURCE. You should feed NUTRI-SOURCE initially, then if you decide to switch brands do so gradually over several days to reduce the possibility of diarrhea or upset stomach.

- Treats
- Healthy, bite-sized treats for training and rewards.
- Collar
- Leash
- Identification Tags
- Apparel: A sweater is recommended during cold climates, especially for small or short haired puppies.
- Information Packet: Information containing breed information, home-medical reference for dogs, puppy care and training and dog behavior is beneficial when welcoming a puppy to the home.
- Shampoo and grooming tools.
- Items such as a comb or brush that is suitable for the puppies fur type.
- Nail Clippers: Please familiarize yourself with the proper usage of nail clippers in order to avoid injuries.
- Toys – At least 3-4 different play and chew toys for your new puppy’s teething.
